More than 700 members of the public joined us last year for MOCFEST! 2021, a free LEGO exhibition held July 24-25, 2021 at ABU Games in Boise, Idaho.
MOCFEST! 2021 was sponsored by Bricks and Minifigs, hosted by the Idaho LEGO Users Group (ILUG), powered by ABU Games, and organized by IDEA Brick Works.

LEGO on display
At MOCFEST! 2021, we had more than 50 builders exhibiting hundreds of creations, including buildings, ships, robots, spaceships, mosaics, and more. Highlights included the Great Ball Contraption, Smokey the Bear, a 12 foot-high Saturn V rocket, and an intricate LEGO city.
MOC stands for My Own Creation, when builders use LEGO and work from their own imaginations to make some incredible works of art.

Activities
Kids and adults of all ages took part in our Design within Constraint activities. Participants built towers and bridges with LEGO bricks in a fun and engaging way under the constraints of time and material.
We held several rounds of competition for kids ages 7 to 14 throughout each day, with prizes awarded after each round. Younger kids under 7 were encouraged to participate, and while they weren’t entered in the scoring rounds, they still earned a prize.
Those 15 and older, including adults, competed in a Master Class for a major prize awarded at the end of the day.

Community
MOCFEST! 2021 would not have been possible without the creativity and hard work of our builders and volunteers.
The Idaho Lego User’s Group (ILUG) is a club for members of the community who enjoy building with and expressing their creativity through LEGO bricks. We welcome people of all ages and skill levels to share their love of LEGO building, collecting and all things LEGO.
